Built in theBayou City
Every episode, Ed Hamilton sits down with one business owner from around Houston and gets into how they actually built it. Grab a chair.
Houston floods. Houston builds anyway.
They call it the Bayou City for a reason. Every hard rain the water comes up, and every time, this city cleans up and keeps building. The owners across town run their businesses the same way, and almost nobody has asked them how they pulled it off.
Built in the Bayou City is that conversation. One owner an episode, from Brazoria to The Woodlands, on the record about how it started, the stretch that nearly sank it, and what is working now. No theory. No pitch.
- About 15 minutes
- One conversation, no filler. Long enough for the real story, short enough to finish on the drive home.
- On location
- Your shop, your restaurant, your back porch. Ed comes to you, and Zoom covers the rest.
- Every week
- A new Houston owner on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube.
The back porch, where most of these get recorded
It’s like hanging out on my back porch, talking, and I hit the record button.
Meet Ed Hamilton
Ed Hamilton is a serial entrepreneur, business owner, and founder of A-Players Business Community. Since 2006, he has built businesses across multiple industries, with a passion for sales, marketing, and helping small business owners win. Today he owns and operates Yellow Rose Pest & Wildlife Management.
Ed believes success comes from surrounding yourself with the right people, building the right systems, and doing the hard things others won’t. His mission is simple: help business owners grow, get better, and become A-Players.
He is not a formal guy, and the show is not a formal show.
He would rather come to you than book a studio. Sit where you are comfortable, talk the way you would to a friend, and he hits record.
